When building control cabinets, using valve terminals with a separated profibus module offers several advantages, such as reduction of size, flexibility on the protocol type and cost efficiency.
In comparison to our standard control cabinets the ones with PROFIBUS module include additional cable glands for connecting feedback signals. Other protocols are available on request.
The standard control cabinet comes with 8 x 5/2-way single solenoid valves with 7 mm orifice size (1,250 Nl/min). The cabinet is made from 1.4301 (ASI 304) stainless steel with a size of 400x280x155 mm and offers protection class IP 66.
The manifold plate offers an individual valve isolation on any position as a special feature. Valves can be easily exchanged by closing the screw without interruption of the air supply of the other valves on the manifold.
Additional elements and features can be added to the cabinet as well, such as pressure regulators or a by-pass function as illustrated below.
